I am currently converting some Divx films in CCE and have noticed that the ones with fewer keyframes give me a lot better compression.

Film 1 = 2688 keyframes
Film 2 = 1368 keyframes

These films are only 2 minutes difference in length.
What can I do to Film 1 to make it have a similar number of keyframes as Film 2?
What software would I use etc?

Thanks

The less keyframes you have, the uglier is your video.
Keyframes are needed to maintain visual quality. If i were you, I didn't try to reduce their number.
