Video file a lot shorter than audio after Forced Film?
 

ive been trying to do Lion King for the last 2 days, the only way i could get the Vid to look good due to the fac that it all interlaced and crap is to Force Fil down to 23 fps, now after doing this my vid file is about 15 mins shorter than audio, i did it with dvd to avi. any way to get the audi down to 23 fps as well so that they will sync?

That DVD should be "FILM".
Did you encode the audio separately with HeadAC3he :?:

yea i encoded my ac3 seperatly, when i used dvd2avi without forced film the vid was really ghosty and i couldnt for the life of me figure out the decomb stuff, also during the preveiw in dvd2avi it flashed quickly between what i could tell the words "progressive and interlaced"

What was the % (percent) FILM :?:
Maybe your source is mixed (Hybrid) Film/Interlaced :!:

it had no % FILM during preveiw just said film, when i saved though an it went through it proccess it said 99%. The source is the new Lion King Speacial Edition DVD

Did you use "Decode" for the audio (to extract the AC3 audio) in DVD2AVI, and encoded the audio using HeadAC3he or another external encoder :?:
If you had 99% FILM, then you did the correct thing by setting "Force FILM" flag.

it dosent say 99% FILM untill i actually save it, whether i force film or not, but yes i did encode my ac3 with hedac3e
