finally managed to convert a divx into ksvcd with tmpgenc and it worked perfectly fine but for 70 mns of film the output file is only 400-500 big. How can i convert divx in order for them to take the whole space of a 80 mn cd.
i tried cq matic but i dont know it works together with tmpgenc

If you were abble to use TMPGEnc to make your 450Mb file, it's easy to use CQMatic : insteed of starting the encodign with tmpegenc, just save the tmpegproject as a text file (see File menu).

Then open CQMatic, load the project, fill "length in minute" and 'average bitrate" box and let CQMatic work. It will call tmpgenc and do your movie.

For sure it will : you use only half of the space, so half of the quality !
