A question regarding audio in my "continuing persuit" for perfection with the KVCD projects

Is it possible (or even recommended) to use Head8che for the audio part with D2S ?

I get "complaints" from my brother in law that his Dolby Surround receiver doesn't show the surround symbol when playing some (!) of my KVCD's. I was absolutely sure I used Dual channel for the particular KVCD so I was a bit surprised.

It's not such an important thing for me, as I don't use Dolby surround myself (even though I use an older Sony Surround system) but maybe it can solve some audio synchro problems I sometimes have.

There is NO electronical mean to determinate if a Stereo audio stream contains surround channels or not.

In other words : I don't know what is the brand of the receiver of you brother in law but if the doc says that it is abble to show a surround symbol when the audio is Dolby Surround, that's only bullshits.

Sorry, I'm rude, but I'm pissed of all the commercial blah blah blah that run in Home-Theater world.
