Is it possible to convert my mpeg-1 compliant VCDs to KDVD at the same resolution?

Wihtout any mistake, VCD videos (MPEG1 - 352*240) are accepted by DVD standard.
There is nothing to do, just authoring.

For some reason, DVD-lab isn't accepting my files. First it asks if I want to demux or not. Either way, it reports that my video file has the wrong or unspecified aspect ratio. When I drag the video stream to the video box, there is no picture (it's all black) and DVD-lab crashes. I've fooled around a bit with tmpgenc and DVDpatcher to try and patch the headers, but that didn't work either. However I could have been doing it wrong, I don't know... Sometimes when I patch the header the video is all green in DVD-lab instead. I'm a bit confused, can anyone out there help me?

There's no need for DVDPatcher in this case. Just demux the file (using TMpgEnc MPEG Tools) and resample audio to 48000. It should work.

I already tried that (I thought I mentioned that above). Whether I demux with tmpgenc of dvd-lab, dvd-lab crashes when I move the video stream into one of the movie selections. Oddly, nothing happens when I drag in the m1v file to dvd-lab (i.e. it doesn't accept the file), but if I rename it to mpv it will accept it. But again, when I try and add the video stream to a movie selection the program crashes. I was using DVD-lab v1.1 when I had these problems, then I updated to 1.3 beta 4 with the same problems. Same thing happens to all my vcd files. What am I doing wrong???
