I hope I'm not repeating this problem here but I can't find a thread about this.
I'm using avisynth script with GripCrop blah blah...
If I test the script by dropping into WMP, everything looks ok.

But when I encode in TMPGenc using the KVCD352x480 NTSC Film template, it resulted in 2 big black borders on top and bottom.

GripCrop(352, 480, overscan=1, source_anamorphic=false )
etc.

If i change to SKVCD352x480 template in TMPEenc, the aspect ratio comes out OK.

Any help appreciated!!!!!

Make sure you set the input aspect in TMPEG to "Full Screen".
Also, test your playback in WinDVD or PowerDVD, so you see the correct aspect.
Don't use WMP
