New script encode2kvcd using ffmpeg/mencoder
I just released a new script for doing the task using mencoder/ffmpeg. The black borders issue is solved, and now you get files with the right aspect ratio.
Also, framerate and system (pal/ntsc) is autodetected. Info and link for download: http://dvdripping-guid.berlios.de/fo...opic.php?t=156 Cheers. |
so is it only ffmpeg or also mencoder?
or mencoder for video, ffmpeg for audio? I know both of em use libavcodec, just insterested (and too lazy to look through the script *g*... lot's of stuff 2 learn 4 school) |
That's right, mencoder for video and ffmpeg for audio.
Cheers. |
mencoder cvs can do video + mp2 in one go now:
Code:
-ovc lavc -oac lavc -lavcopts acodec=mp2:abitrate=128: |
i have used the script an 1400 mb avi file was converted to a 685 mb mpg file : in 45 minutes . gona test the file tonight in my dvd player .
mplayer reconise a vcd in my dvd player .... subs are bad , the letters are not readable .....i cannot fix the sound on my system , si i rip the audio from the source avi with avidemux . and use the raw stream from the mpg file from the script . anyway quality is good |
