Hey guys, I have been using ACP and Nero to *try* to burn mpg movies to VCD's. Yet I was having no luck, everytime i tried it would not work, i did everything correct. I unchecked the compliant vcd and did as the directions told me to.

So i was searching for another way to maybe make it work. And I found VCDEasy. I tried to burn my mpg but it came up w/ an error. So I went to the tools section, then the MPEG Tools. There i had it analyse my video and came up with this error; autopadding requires to insert additional 182820 zero bytes into mpeg stream (due to 9141 unaligned packets of 90075 total).

So how do I autopad my video so I can get a VCD to work for once!

I havent been able to make a single vcd, and now I think this autopad thing is the reason why, cuase I have tired every way possible! lol

Thanks

Try to multiplex the audio+video files with TMPG as "MPEG-1 VCD(non-standart)". This is working for me.
After that load the mpg in VCDEasy.

am I able to do that in ACP, only cause ACP is much easier for me. I am kinda out of date with the computer info stuff, I am jsut now getting into all this VCD stuff, so I am a lil behind all.

If I cant do it with ACP, any way you could give me step by step instruction on how to do that with TMPG.

Sorry, im getting better with the lingo and how things work though (I hope)

Thanks

Start TMPG. File->MPEGTools. New window will open. From the dropdown menu select MPEG-1 VCD (non-standart). Load the video file (m1v), load the audio file (mp2). It is obviously where and how. Check if "MPEG-1 VCD (non-standart)" is still selected. Click "Run". Wait. That is.

Yes, but you should change the output name. As I understood you have now
video file: movie.mpg
audio file: movie.mpg
output: movie.mpg -> this name you should change, for example to mymovie.mpg. Then you should load in VCDEasy mymovie.mpg
