I have had some luck in the past with encoding DivX to KVCD, however, I used a very simple script made with moviestacker using just the default lines it gives. However, now I understand the process a little more I have tried copying other scripts from this site. But when I do, and load the script into ToK, instead of telling me the length of the movie and the resolution in the script, it tells me that there are 240 frames, resolution 976x56, and only 10 seconds wrong. I have tries lots of scripts from the guides, and from this board and I am going crazy trying to figure out what I am doing wrong. I would grateful if anyone can shed some light on my problem.

P.S. sorry if this sounds like a complete noob thread

Thanks for the help. I know it would be something really obvious. It was something about and invalid PCM audio stream. So I seperated the audio and video, and then ran the script in WMP and the video played fine. So then ran the audio through ac3fix and headache for a suitable mp2 file which I can multiplex in BBmpeg later.

No problem, for future AC3 problems you can just add ,false to the avisource line like this

Code:
AviSource("PATH\NAME.avi",false)
