Big quality improvements in VCDs when using KVCD?

Hey people! Since my dad bought a DVD Player 3 days ago i have been creating (S)VCDs like crazy. Anyways i got a bunch of questions:

1. Will i see big quality improvements in VCDs when using KVCD? Im using DVD2SVCD and TMPGEnc to encode movies at the moment.

2. Which encoder is best, TMPGEnc or Cinema Craft Encoder?

Thanks alot!

Yes you can. You can store average 120min Video on one CD-R 80. This is much better than VCD and more.
On a single CD 80 can you only store 80min in VCD Qualy in SVCD only 40-60.

For one CD encodings which we made is TMPGEnc the best.

All depend on what you encode.
You wont see any difference if you encode a comedy TV show with no action and lasting 25 minutes. But if you plan to encode a movie of 1h40, with some action scenes, and want to put that on a single disc, there is only KVCD that can do that !

Remember taht a VCD is 1h20 of video in 352*240 where a KVCD is abble to put a 1h45 movie in 528*480 on a single CD ! Even SVCD is out of game.

For low bitrate (KVCD), tmpgenc is better. For hight bitrate (KDVD) you can use CCE.
