4474mb is top limit for DVD-r or there is some more space on it that could used for burning DVD ???
Did anyone succeeded to burn more than 4474mb on one DVD-r ( or nobody even tryed :( :( :( )

You mean "overburning" a DVD ? Like we do for CD ?
All I can say is that I never read someone mentioning he did.

Not exectly overburning but to burn let's say 4500, 4550mb on 1 DVD-r instead of 4474
It's so tempting my to try 8) 8) 8) and it's interesting to get any response about subject .
1 DVD-r with 4.37Gb space is not enough for me ( for 3-4 movies ) :D :D :D

I read somewhere at doom9.org that it's not possible, unlike CDs, DVD-R can't be overburned... But unfortunatelly I can't remember exactly where now...
