I start with a new project, I have short paths and i am stumped!!

Then how come i get a CQ of 89.77 ?

I thought that happened when something went wrong!

Please clear up my confused thoughts

Do you get 89.77 for EVERY movie
I don't think so
It just so happens that for your particular movie, that was the CQ found

make sure you have the TMPGenc path set, and that the source range is 0, -1, and whenever you start a project always start it as a new one by going to file-new project. I used to have the exact same problem as you.
