MovieStacker: Audio streams & Authoring in v2.0.0 beta 3?
 

Hello,

On the audio & authoring page of moviestacker there are two drop down boxes I don't fully understand. One of them is the multiplexing drop down. It's defaulted to bbMPEG SVCD MPEG-2, Since I'm creating a KVCD shouldn't this be set either the bbMPEG 1 or TMPGEnc 1 position?

Also on the Authoring drop down it's defaulted to vcdimager SVCD & I use VCDEasy to burn. I don't see that option. I do see the numbers change around quite a bit when I select different options.

What options should these be set to, in order to get the best results?

Hi nighthawk,

I set mine to bbMPEG VCD MPEG-1, because I use BBMpeg to multiplex.
That, of course, is for making MPEG-1 KVCD's. If you are doing SKVCD(or SVCDs), then set it to bbMPEG SVCD MPEG-2 It really doesn't make that much difference, because the values change about 1MB or so, so that's really a "Don't care" option :) (Unless someone is a purist :mrgreen: )

So on the authoring drop down it won't make much difference to leave it at it's defaulted position "vcdimager"? :)

Correct me if I'm wrong guys, but I thought VCDEasy used VCDimager :?

Could DVD options be added? I know...wish list...but since the topic came up :D

Added to what ? Moviestacker ? We do not see its developper since MONTHS.. so... :-(

Last time we heard from muaddib, it was from jorel that had called him and talked to him on the phone. His wife had just had a baby, and he was busy with the new baby.
That was months ago, and now jorel hasn't shown up for over a month :(

Let's hope everything is ok with Muaddib and his familly and also with our friend Jorel.
Don't forget that in this time of the year is Summer time in Brazil and they have wonderful beaches :D
I think I can see Muaddib and his wife at the beached getting tanned while little Muaddib and Jorel play with the sand :mrgreen:
