TMPGEnc: Convert to KVCD PAL to Burn onto a Single CD

HI, all

greena as the grass with this at the moment. I have some movies i have downloaded that i want to convert to KVCD PAL to burn onto a single cd. Followed various sets of instructions but to no avail. Have TMPGEnc and the KVCD templates but everytime i load a video file, a message saying that the the file cannot be opened or is unsupported appears.

Movies play in WMplayer 9, what am i doing wrong?
