Maximum Bitrate for Audio in KVCDs?

What is the maximum bitrate that can be used for the audio stream in a KVCD.

I have an original video recording, with the audio encoded at 320 kbps mp3.
How high can I go and still be able to maintain the compatibility amongst different DVD players.

What will be the best stereo mode for preserving the best quality (Stereo, Joint Sterero, etc.).

Many thanks.

I wouldn't go over 224Kbps, because that's the standard (max) for a VCD.
Above that, who knows what will happen on different players.

If you are going to play your KVCDs on a Dolby Prologic II receiver, use "Dual channel".
