I do not currently own a widescreen TV, but it does support 16:9, anyway I have a question for you guys. I am kind of new at this but anyway here it goes. I have an AVI file that I am going to be turning into a KVCD, I already know the steps and everything, I was wondering how I get the AVI in widescreen when I view it, I don't want it full screen. When I am encoding it in TMPG Encoder do I just switch it to 16:9 or what do I do?

All KVCD must be encoded as 4:3. If they are widescreen, black bars are added in top and bottom of the screen taht will be cut off by the internal zoom of the widescreen TV.

Widescreen source are NEVER encoded as fullscreen in KVCD or that means that you use a bad setting in tmpgenc (you must use "center" not "full screen").
