Bitrates: My movie seems to fast
I seems that my video is runing to fast, just a bit. I encoded it with tmpgenc and used cqmatic, now if I add the audio in there will it make it not run as fast? I used movie stacker for the bitrate so It should be right. Does 1057 for 90 min vid sound okay or should it be more like 1085 or so.
*is my bitrate to fast? or to slow* Can I change my bitrate even though I already encoded it? |
What makes you think it too fast ?
Did you do a PAL or NTSC video ? Was the source in the same format ? Did you have a "AssumeFPS" line somewhere in the script you used ? |

That still does not solve your problem. We need more information to be able to help, i.e., what you have done, script used, is it PAL or NTSC etc. etc. |
NTSC, and im not using a script.
Here is what I did 1. loaded avi in tmpgenc 2. changed settings to my liking 3. saved project as tpr text file 4. Got moviestacker found bitrate which is (avg 1057) 5. And my movie is 90 mins and I put that in 6. found path to tmpeg.exe 7. put it on x1 8. hit exicute (full encode) 9. then it loaded up tmpgenc and started the encoding process I have not done the audio with anything other then tmpgenc without switching any options, what should I encode the audio with since it seems a lot slower then the video does. I burned the video with the audio that I just encode with tmpgenc, I knew it wouldnt match up just wanted to see if the video was all good. but it seems everything is going a bit fast. The people are moving fast or somthing it seems that it needs to be slowed down. |
Are you SURE your source is NTSC ? What is its framerate ?
Note : another avi->kvcd related topic that has nothing to do there :-( |
yes, the frame rate is 23.976
|
Is you player fully compatible ith KVCD ? Or do yousee the default even on the PC ?
Note: don't now if that is your first KVCD but try an other one, this source can be crappy. |
@fiercegaming,
Have you tried the KVCD compatibility image :?: If not, get it here, and test it in your player: http://www.kvcd.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2464 -kwag |
Yes my DVD player works with KVCD, I have done others that have worked. My DVD player on the computer also works with KVCD, not a problem there. I am just going to try System Video and Audio then I wont have to multi-plex it. Instead of doing the Video and Audio separately, maybe this will work. I did decompress the AVI file before encoding it, with 3ivx D4.4.5 codec, because TMPEG wouldn't open mine original AVI file, so I decompressed it and TMPEG file accepted my file. I don't know if this has anything to do with it but like I said before I am not a big expert on this stuff. The original audio stream of the AVI is 142 Kbps. But I am encoding it in 128 Kbps; maybe this also makes a difference.

A speed problem is most likely FPS as Dialhot said, maybe created when you decompressed the AVI, but I'm no expert. |

The question is : why tmpgenc refuses the original avi ? What is it's codec ? Use Gspot. |
