My friend, I was just searching in an online translator for the word "accomidate" but I could not find it ... so I do apologize in advance if I understood you wrong.

AC3 comes with constant bitrates, like our mp2, so in case of 2.0 CH you can choose 128kbit as known. In case of 5.1 CH I wouldn't go below 384kbit but there have been some user reports (ok, also including me ) that a nice quality can be archieved when using 224, even at 5.1 CH but that also depends on the source.

So do your predictions as known using audio bitrates/sizes within your or the apps. calculations.

well I think I understand what u said anyway lol I have tok or cq matic to predic but I know that tok wasn't made for kdvd predcitin, I would use CQ Matic but I'm not 100% sure about that prog so maybe if u could be kind enough and tell me how I would use cq matic and calcumatic to predict right CQ for a dvd to kdvd.

Andy,
I've been using CQM and CalcuM for KDVD prediction without problems.
Eeeeh, that is, I find that CQM will produce great MPEG2 files for both KVCD, (S)KVCD and KDVD. I only noticed it produces files 1%-2% bigger than what I need for muxing.
Anyway just use CalcuMatic as usual to calculate your average bitrate. In the Audio options choose the value that DVD2AVI found for your AC3.
And that's it just like a regular MP2 file.
C ya
