I assume your source got 352x288(240) pix in resolution, right?

But anyhow you should use CQmatics Prediction so they do fit on one CD-R.

Go to TmpgEncs MPEG TOOLS and merge both mpeg files to one.
If these mpegs are merged as one use again the MPEG TOOLS and demux that one you merged right before. You end up with a m1v VIDEO and a mp2 AUDIO file.

Open the mp2 using "Gspot" to find out the audiobitrate, ... in regular this would be 224kbit.
Load this 224kbit m2v into "HeadAC3he" (as I assume it also supports mp2 input if not use "Besweet") and do a re-encode at 128kbit, as your source is 224kbit you got enough quality reserves to reencode at 128kbit.

After this load that demuxed m1v VIDEO source into tmpgenc and do the settings as recommended in the Calcumatic and CQmatic Guides/Thread.
In calcumatic you can enter the re-encoded Audio bitrate (128kbit) to get the right average Bitrate which is needed for prediction in CQmatic.
By this you end up with a well sized endfile ready to burn as non-standard VCD to one CD-R using for example NERO.

BTW: If you are in Avisynth you can preserve much of quality when using one of Dialhots AVI purposed scripts which you also can use in cases of already encoded mpeg1 vcd files, .. as he recommended.

ive used 'HeadAC3he' and it gives me an error 'read less bytes then expected' and the other 'besweet' wont work.

any other programs that i could use, or how could i bypass that error.

As said, use gspot to analyse the mp2 file and see what it says.
Because it is definitely not normally to have both headache and besweet that refuse the file.

That sounds weird then. I do not understand why Besweet _and_ headache failed on it. How did you separate the audio from the video ?

yep with the GUI, if i do it without the wizard there is no 'convert' button it seems to only output wav if it would work

if i use the wizard it comes up with the error 'besweet.log not found would you like to create one' i answer yes or no and then it just sits there

You should deinstall it, remove the directory and reinstall the tool.
I never use the wizard and never had any problem.
