Cannot load xvid into avisynth 2.5 ?

I'm trying to convert an xvid movie to kvcd.
But when I load up my script, I get error:

AviSource: couldn't locate a decompressor for fourcc xvid

I tried DirectshowSource and now I get a different error:

BlindPP: work in YV12 colorspace

The movie plays fine on the computer.
What do I need to do?

Download AVICodec http://avicodec.duby.info/ftp/avicod11.exe
and check if you really have the right codec!

Install a CODEC and not a directshow filter that can read the xvid. There a two things completly different.
