VirtualDub: Audio sync problems

ok, I had a look at that post in the avisynth forum http://www.kvcd.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=646 when I opened the avi file in vdub I got this message, this is effecting the audio/vid sync after encodng in tmpgenc using just the audio and video. Now I found your post on how to improve the quality I want to get things right so, is that message a problem?? is it easily fixable?

Do exactly what he message says. Demux the audio to a WAV file, so that you can encode it to MP2 with headac3he.
