Tryed MPEG mediator method but have got TMPGenc error : Can't open IPCserver.avi or not supported .
Reinstall aviwrapper but have got same message .
Higher AVI(open DML) File reader priority - same message .
What is the problem ???

Did you change the plug's output to .avi, not .avs?

Premiere farme server plugin
CRC error of the settings
Default settings are loaded
You need to run the settings menu
of the plugin ones .

This is the error message I've got every time I tryed use AVIwrapper
What setting should I put in Premiere farme server plugin ???
There are audio , video encoding , post processing and meny more ?
WHAT is the problem whit this plugin option ?
If I set the AVIsynth option it goes smooth !!!

Some times I get message "Can't create IPCserver.avi !!! " too

Hi bman,

Ignore the crc error, and leave all parameters as they are. The default is already AVIWrapper, which is what we want. Apparently mediator doesn't store the plug parameters in the registry, and they're lost once you exit the program. Forget about processing the audio with the frameserver. Just process the video stream, and extract the audio to wav with mediator. Then use an external encoder to encode your audio to mp2. I use headac3he to process the WAV file. I've got perfect results with the last three movies I've done.
About the "Can't create IPCserver.avi" looks like you have TMPEG or something else already running, which has opened the IPCServer.avi file. That's why you get the error.

The CRC errors are the Frameserver's way of saying "Hey, I just loaded the default values ", so this is really *no* error or doesn't cause any problems.

I figured out that CRC errors are not errors really but there is problem !!!
Server really won't open IPCserver.avi file . File is created but is 0kb size!
As I see it server can't , from some reason , write to avi file and TMPGenc have nothing to open(coz avi is empty) !!!

Then I tryed to use avisynth option - IPCserver.avs created with no problems . I usually work with KVCDx2 Plus 720x480(576) 300/2520 kbps
bitrate(my player can play even 3000kbps but can't play xVCD format 704x480(576) so I'm working with mpeg1 at higher res , demux and remux as SVCD).
Frameserved avs file to VDUB add subtitles and frameserved to TMPGenc .
Works like a charm - perfect quality video and smooth playback on my standalone too .
AS u see I've managed but - WHY the hell aviwrapper won't create avi file ???
I'm ready to give up but hope that one day , maybe ONE DAY I'll get aviwrapper work !!!

For future plane - it will be great if u'll add subtitles function to your prog as it is in DVDx - that will be very very nice .
DVDx dosn't give video with quality of MPEGmediator !!!

If nothing helps I suggest you give it up (the thing with the videoserver). I personally have not done much with this plugin but all i did worked perfectly almost every time. I can't believe it's a problem of MPEG Mediator cause the plugin is responsible for doing all the output stuff. MPEG Mediator just passes the frames to the plugin. Sorry I can't provide a better solution.









Well, about the subtitles thing: I'm pretty involved into other things (other than MPEG Mediator currently) so I can't promise anything
