Converting PAL to NTSC?

Am converting PAL DVD to KVCD NTSC. I read a post from Dialhot that said add "AssumeFPS(23.976,true)" to the script and also convert the audio with Besweet using the preset "PAL->NTSC(23.976)". And also to check "format conversion" in Moviestacker.

I usually use Moviestacker to make my .avs script. But I'm wondering, do I have to put that line in my script, "AssumeFPS..." or will Moviestacker do that? And if so, where should that line go? And, is that really all there is to it?

Just check the box 'format conversion" and you will see that Moviestacker add the line :!:

And yes, that's all you have to do for the video. Do not forget to do the same on the audio part.

Phil, could I ask for a bit more help? I usually have used Headac3he to convert the audio from .wav (from DVD2AVI) to .mp2 which I then mux with the video in Bbmpeg. I get confused trying to work in BeSweetGUI, I see the preset for converting the audio, but what about the input and outputs? For input can I use the .wav file, or must I convert to .mp2 or some other format before BeSweet will convert to NTSC? I haven't been able to find a guide for BeSweet that tells about that.
