my kvcd came out great in terms of picture quality. For a tv show i did a cq of 64 with 1600max bitrate and 500 min. The one thing is that my source was originally 29.97 interlaced but in dvd2avi i selected force film and used smoothderinterlace in my script and encoded at 23.976. The picture is AWESOME but there is some very slight jerkiness when the camer moves down or sideways. could this be because i encoded at 23.976 when the original framerate was 29.97?

This can be. But this problem also accurs on the DVD sometimes. That is a general problem due to the tranform of a natural continuous movement to a digitilized discrete one.
