first of all great templates (i'm a convert from Divx)

1.your templates always defaults to 4:3 aspect ratio ( both in Video And Advance tab), and i always change them to 16:9 for WS materials... do i need to do this?

2.would it be Ok to clip 8 on both side so that it perferctly fit 704X480 size , i don't mind loosing those edge data, as long as i would buy some file size ( and it would not affect aspect ratio)

more power Kwag!!

Thanks Bon!,
The 4:3 is set as output because it's necessary for VCD making. VCD's only support 4:3 encoded aspect.
For input, I chose the same, because I had to choose something! It just so happens that it works correctly if you use FitCD, and let it calculate the correct aspect automatically. FitCD will create an AviSynth script so that you can process it with TMPEG. FitCD will also take care of the correct resizing every time.

tmgenc will encode any sized video - if you use non-standard size VGA's jus use 1:1 vga option for source and full screen (keep aspect ratio)
