KVCD: fitting a whole movie on a cd?

You mentioned about fitting a whole movie on a cd with varoius resolutions depending on the movie length and in one of the resolutions, you mentioned 480x576, this isn't in the official kwag templates, so would i just say grap the 704x576 template and modify it to 480x576

And i last thing, pal is 704x576 and ntsc is 704x480, so wouldn't it mean that pal has a better resolution?

480*576 teh standard SVCD resolution and of course you can take any tempalte you want and change it to any resolution, min bitrate and/or max bitrate you need. The only important thing is to have the GOP structur and the matrix. And these are in all templates !

This is not a matter of better or not. PAL resolution is adapted to PAL TV sets (625 lines) where NTSC TV are 525 lines. That's all.
