FFMPEG: NOTCH Matrix for ffvfw mpeg2 encoding, get it here...

http://www.incredible.de.tf/Download..._ffvfw.qmatrix

Load this Matrix file in the Quantisation/Custom Tables options of ffvfw.

EDIT:
Red values in the Download file have been updated to 63.

Nice, Inc :)
Anyway the god damn encoder has presets but it doesn't produce any ini file for it :(
Instead it dumps it only in the windows registry...
That would save a lot of time if we could just input a best preset by kwag or best preset by Inc or best preset by Phil, etc, etc...
Anyway thanks for the tip.

Thanks incredible. :D

I've been playing with ffvfw while reading the monster thread and was wondering a couple things:

1. How to set the ffvfw output filename to automaticl\ally be similar to the input filename. If I want to do a batch encode would I have to manually go in and change the name?

2. Have you been able to get the 'input image processing' to work. It looks like it uses ffdshow to apply avisynth scripts to an inputted avi file. So far I haven't gotten that to work, I've been using my own avs scripts directly loaded into avisynth.

3. I just loaded your notch qmatrix into ffvfw, and the three squares on the bottom right of the intra matrix have lit up red. Is that normal?

Change the last three (red) values to 63.
