I have some VOB files which I am unable to load into DVD2AVI (1.77.3) to create D2V files. As soon as I try to open them, DVD2AVI quits. However I can open the VOB files in the latest VirtualDubMod (which accepts mpeg-2 files). I have no idea what's wrong with these files. Can anyone help me?

You're using the wrong version. Use 1.76. This is compatibel with AVISYNTH and I haven't any problems yet.

I use DVD2AVI 1.77.3 exclusively. Actually, I deleted 1.76 a long time ago.
Never had a problem with version 1.77.3 and AviSynth 2.5x

But with 1.77 and AVISYNTH 2.0x I have a lot of problems.

Who in the world uses Avs 2.0x anymore???

Also 1.76 didn't solve my problem...

edit: Just thought of something. Could it be that the source resolution is 352x480? Perhaps dvd2avi can't handle that?
