DTS to AC3, Is it possible?

Is there a way to convert a DTS- file to AC3 (or MP2)?

Besweet can handle DTS by using azidDTS. This way you can convert it to MP2 or 6-way wav. The 6-way wav can be converted back to AC3 also with besweet.

I searched for AziDTS for a long time, since all links seemed to be dead.
I finally found it in a pack called DJBeppy Codec Pack.
It contains as well besweet and ac3machine btw.

Thanks guys! I'll do some testing during the weekend and see what happens...

btw. You can download AzidDTS from Doom9.

Hi there!

I'm having problems with BeSweetGUI, it won't accept the DTS-file. I'm not sure whether I should pick the VOBs (in batch mode) or the DTS- file (I can't get BeSweet to accept that one).Or should I use the command prompt for the encoding? A simple guide (an idiots guide ) of the procedure would be appreciated a lot! I can do an encoding from AC3 --> MP2 without any problems. What am I missing here? :?
