Hi, i would like to know wich is the best template for use with TMPGEnc to obtain a good quality picture and small size...

KVCDx3-MPEG-2-PAL.mcf
KVCDx3-MPEG-1-PAL.mcf
SKVCD-352x576-_PAL_.mcf

?????

And the CQ, how low can i push it too...?

Hi Mav,
I believe it's a personal taste matter.
In theory the kvcdx3 templates will give you the best output.
On the CQ side...well another personal taste matter.
I personally don't go bellow CQ 65.
Others have posted good results with CQ above 55 but that's probably because they were
aiming at resolutions below 528x576 that come with kvcdx3.
So my only advise to you.
Encode several 5 minute clips with different settings and see it for yourself.
You might come to point that you find that your standalone doesn't like the standard 528x576.
In that case try 544x576 and you might be lucky it works.
