I want to convert a 23.976 fps progressive avi(Xvid/Divx) video to DVD MPEG-2.
Should I check 3:2 pulldown detection?
If the avi video is 4:3, should I check Panscan?
If the avi video is 16:9. should I check Letter box hint?

I check my orignal MPEG-2 elementary video with RESTREAM and it states under "Field coded"
tff-flag: ++++++++++++++
Top fields: IBPBBPBBPBBPBBPBP
Bottom fields:
bff-flag:
After running a pulldown using pulldown.exe, the field order becomes
tff-flag: ++ ++ ++ ++
Top fields: IB BP PB BP
Bottom fields: PB BB BP
bff-flag: -- -- --

Is it supposed to change the field order?
