Hi i erased an eariler thread i started because i think i was asking the wrong thing.

I have a movie that i s95% and higher film for most of it but then turns to about 60% .

I tried using forced film and the ma script but it didn't turn out to well, the movie was very jerky in parts

can someone give me a hint on what to do,

Incredible you seem to be up on the interlaced questions.

Thanx

When i run it through dvd2avi the first half of the movie is film 99% but then it drops to film 60 % for the rest and when i watch it on the dvd player it gets like a jerky movement half way through.

dvd2avi never reports anything other then progressive and film its just the percentage of film is the problem

On doom9 someone with the same movie said they used forced film and just used smart deinterlaced

here is the link to that if you don't mind

http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.ph...highlight=teen

Its the last pst that i'm talikng about

Doom9 is great for this kind of stuff but to be honest most of it is over my head
