Can someone show me a program to convert rm or rmvb(RealMedia) files
to an AVI file because i have two rmvb video files that i want to burn to a KVCD?
I tried AVOne and Rm Converter but both of them dosen't work?!
Also i used EO Video, which can only convert rm files but not rmvb files into AVI files?
HELP!

Try tinra, it's worked for me but the results vary. The main problem is that some RealMedia files use variable framerates to improve video compression, and the audio in your AVI will get out of sync very quickly. For short videos you can duplicate and delete frames but it takes a while and considering the image quality of most rm files probably isn't worth it...

I don't know cause I'm not sure what the differences between rm and rmvb are...

But I know it'll do any format that RealPlayer 8 plays (I followed the guide on dvdrhelp.com, several months ago when I used it last). It's not that large of a program (and is free), so you may as well try it yourself (there's other methods on the link given, too)...

EDIT: I see you've already tried EO Video. But there's always the screen capture method (which makes it even harder to synchronize the sound since you have to grab it separately)...

Maybe try this. Install Real Media Alternative DS filters and try open RM file via avisynt script with directshowsource("nameoffile.rm") (maybe you have to kill audio stream with false or killaudio). I don't know if this will work, while I don't have any RealMedia file. If it works then you can convert this file under any avs reading aplication (TMPG, CCE, VirtualDub, .....)
