Hi All,

I tried EazyVCD v1.15a which can create an XVCD. This automated uses
vstrip (ripper), DVD2AVI, and Tmpgenc to encode audio + video. I
replaced Tmpgenc's template for NTSC 352x240 with KVCD 352x240 Plus
which also included Kwag's notch-Matrix. The wizard for Tempgenc
created a perfect 794mb file for my 700Mb 80 minute CD-R. This is
such a simple piece of software to use, but can anything be done to
use avisynth 2.52 MA avs script. The audio from Tmpgenc was ok,
but Headac3he would have been much better. I know there's D2S
with DVD2KVCD to convert it. This took a very long time to setup
and the file prediction was off on most encodes. Maybe a EazyKVCD
version could be developed using Tmpgenc's wizard to predict file
size would be nice.

EazyVCD only encodes at 29.97fps, so you're loosing quality right there.
The program doesn't detect when a movie is FILM.

@Jorel, I've been around, but just lerking for good ideas.

Your right Kwag, but each automated program i've tried, such as D2S,
are complex to setup. The results fails to get the best KVCD as the
only the manual process can. I tried using Autoit with some success,
but again a beginner would be greatly challenged. I suggesting a simple
program similiar to EazyVCD that performs close to KVCD manual
process. It self installs the avisynth 2.52, vstrip, dvd2avi, cqmatic, etc.
It uses commandline versions of programs when needed and has
a GUI with simple settings such as resolution, target CD numbers, etc.
I get some PM's about creating KVCD's from new members and I
wish I could point them an automated program easy to setup and
can quickly get them started.

Speciall now that we're playing with QuEnc, which has command line arguments. So it can be "plugged" into DIKO

Ask to Vmesquita if programming an all-in-one tool for newbies that can handle every kind of situation and adapt to every newbies problems is not difficult

But I see that Kwag already beat me on this point
