These typical questions "whats the best" where we don't know anything about your source doesn't make sense :!: To archive the best possible is also based on which script for avisynth is used and so on. Shure a CQ of 70 or even 80 does result in a better image but the resulting CQ after a prediction depends on movie length, movie treatment and so on. So there can't be an answer in general. Maybe you watch a bit in the forum in here and have a look at the guides as they do explain a lot of the settings in TmpgEnc and so on. Inc. |
The source was an Avi divx file 640*480......and it was about 86 minutes long....and i used the settings that i wrote above......i didnt use avisynth as i am really bad with the scripts and it would tell me things like it couldnt locate certain dll files that were in the directory i told the script they were in........and before that I had to download new dlls cause none of em worked with version 2.5x........i just got really frustrated......i read a bunch and i know the script was right but it said it couldnt even do gripcrop gripsize or gripborders?????...  ...so i gave up, i will probably try it again when im less frustrated or when i find a dll for blockbuster for version 2.5x............but as far as tmgenc is concerned is there a way to make it less blocky when encoding and is there a way to figure out the highest CQ before encoding, so the movie isnt too long when finished encoding........is CQ the best or should i do VBR or something, also whats the best motion precision search????? if anyone can help with these questions or put a link to another place that describes best tmpgenc settings for skvcd i would be very much happy, and you would be very much thanked...lol
