Best dvd templates when making movies?
 
I want to make the best quality there is for movies from dvd-rips
what do you recommend and how do i go about doing this.

I already know how to use the templates and software im just not sure about mpeg 1 and mpeg 2 dvd templates.

Also cant i just use mpeg 1 vcdtemp at a very high res using a dvd-r? and making it into a vcd on a dvd-r?
Please help

The best quality right now, is mpegs created with the PLUS templates. Which are MPEG-1.
If you want to put a VCD on a DVD-R, your paremeters must be DVD compliant, so there are some restrictions. For MPEG-1, the max resolution must be 352x240(288) and the audio must be encoded at 48Khz. Not at 44.1Khz. Also there are GOP restrictions. Search the net for the complete DVD compliant parameters.
