Hi all!

I want to copy a DVD-9 to DVD-5 and want to use DVD Shrink for this. Problem is: I already ripped the DVD to harddisk, with Stream copy, and extracted the audio as a seperate AC3 track. When I want to load the VOBs into DVD Shrink I get this error:

"Failed To Open File VIDEO_TS.IFO"

and no I did not rip the VIDEO_TS.IFO. How can I reauthor this disc as DVD, and then shrink it with DVD Shrink? Remember, the Audio is already extracted and in AC3 Formate....

use tmpenc dvd author & make a new dvd from your vob files
(the new version outputs ac3 aswell, find it on edonkey2000)
then dvd shrink it or use "Elby clone dvd 2"
(which gives best video quality)

I don't know what you are talking about EM but the current version of dvdshrink is 3.1.7.6 and there is no release of this soft that can handle a ripp where the IFO are missing.

Note: DVD-Fab (not DVDLab) can create new ifo from a set of vobs.
