Man, MCE produces things so awfull with a clean DVD source that I wont ever try it on Divx. Just don't loose your time.
But you have guide for MCE in KVD or KDVD forum (don't remember). They are in sticky post. Author : prodater64.

Well, if the lad doesn't know how to use the search (or open his eyes and see that there are guides all over the place), I just wanted to give him a small pointer. I've never tried DIKO myself, I only thought that it might be the easiest way to go for a newbie. Just like you, I prefer manual work

Well Im trying both, MCE and TMPpenc. The last time im using dvd2svcd and by the first movie it worked perfect to get a ksvcd and by the second and third my file was after encoding 1,6 Gigabyta and the other 950 Gb.

Im searching now what the problem is and tried many CQ's. And it went to the same.

By the way, IM not a knewbie, make svcd for YEARS and now im trying to find the best and easy way, to make a AVi in a SKVCD, to make a guide in DUTCH for my forum.

Whit the explaine for how to calculate and then to convert there movies for the best result.

I have now ca. 15 guide in 3 languages and im searching for more( whit TMPG,MCE and DVD2SVCD!!

Thanx for the help and answers by the way!!!!! 8)

Pardon me for mistaking you for a newbie :) It's just that non-n00bs don't ask for guides very often.

Making the guide would be quite simple: 1)preprocess the source (extract the audio that is), 2)convert the audio to proper format, 3)create the script (Dialhot's V4 script is a very good one), 4)encode to KSVCD using the templates and CQMatic and 5)mux and burn.
