Hi!

Well, I think I may have found one of many possible problems that can happen when encoding using 48000 128. Well I encoded a movie using 48000 128 and the audio was jumping around majorly and the video was some as well! So, I was like WTF! Cause I almost always encode using 41000 128. Well when I encoded at 41000 128 all the problems disappeared completely!
Tmpgenc said it was a 48000 audio also, so I do belive that I may have found a solution to audio and some video jumping and outta sync. Possibly movies actually need to be encoded at a higher bit rate when using 48000, maybe at say 192? I am gonna do some tests on this and see what I come up with here. And maybe some of you others should as well, and post your results. Cause if this is true this could be a major break through for some people with some movies.
Let us all know guys what you come up with here.

I always encode sound at 48Khz.
But no matter if I use 41khz or 48khz... with my DVD, I have to encode video as SVCD (KSVCD ) or the audio will be jumping all around.

no matter if I encode in 44.1 (that's what you probably mean) or in 48 @ 128,
160, or 192 kbps: there are no sync
problems.

So if you have sync probs then it's for
other reasons.

Take a look at the logfile underflows or
remux with bbmpeg or check for
another S/A player

Obrigado
