My media server is running a headless (no X) linux. Is there any chance of a console version of MencodeMe, or batch files to ask the right questions to fill in the parameters on the template files?

If anybody else is using the MencodeMe templates on the console I'd like to hear about their experiences.

Thanks

I've been playing around with making KVCD/KDVD rips from one of my DVDs and I've been running into problems. Mainly quality and speed issues, after I finally figured out basics of the scale/expand stuff.

I don't have a problem using mencoder with include files (that's what I'm doing now), but it sounds like MencodeMe has a better handle on the right parameters to use (at least a better understanding than I have at the moment)
