DVDDecrypter main title only
DVD2AVI for d2v
KDVD with TMPGEnc with optimum script

Each vob is in synch.

All attempts with TMPGEnc Author and Mplex to mux m2v with Headac3he MP2 results in sound lag. All attempts to mux m2v with ac3 from from DVD2AVI with TMPGEnc Author results in same lag.

First time I've seen this. Any suggestions? I've even used IfoEdit to recreate IFO files.

Hi nicksteel,

Extract the AC3 audio from the VOBs (to WAV), using MPEG Mediator, and then use HeadAC3he to encode it to MP2.

Why he doesn't extract the AC3 only and encode it with HeadAC3he. Conversion to wave you lost Quality.

If you take your time to read the thread once more, probably you will understand (or maybe not?)

what ?
if: Mplex to mux m2v with Headac3he MP2 results in sound lag....
then: then use HeadAC3he to encode it to MP2. .....
more: extract the AC3 only and encode it with HeadAC3he....
and: probably you will understand !

This is a special case. Some movies ( example: Kate & Leopold ) are always out of sync when extracting the audio with DVD2AVI.
MPEG Mediator is the solution.

I've got very similar problem with original audio stream .
Demux AC3 with Dvd2Avi 1.77 - mux with m2v -> video far behind audio .
Demux as wav with mpegMediator and encoded to mp2 as dual channel - prefect sync .
Tryed to reencode same wav as AC3 with AC3machine - got an error - Too big buffer !!!
The same with BeSweet too .
What's the meaning of this error ???
Could this wav be encoded as AC3 5.1 by any other way or prog
I'm very interested to keep audio as AC3 5.1 track .

So what could be done to prserve AC3 5.1 and keep audio and video in sync ???
DVDlab can adjust delay on audio stream , I don't know how to applay it in easy way ( experiments with different delay values are not attractive way for me )
