Hya Inc.,
Killer application buddy :!:
I do have some ideas for future enhancements that I will post in the other thread.
I think I will never be able to thank you both (Inc. and VM) enough for all your effort and time spent working for us all.
Oh, and a bunch of other guys here too (I won't name them all as we don't have enough space to write all their nicks   ) but since in this thread only you two guys posted... I took the opportunity.
Cheers mates :D

Prodater64 05-14-2004 08:26 AM

I know now why I can ear nothing from you in the last days!!!
Congratulations Inc!

Cool stuff  :beard:

digitall.doc 05-14-2004 09:43 AM

Really nice tool, Inc :D .
This will make our DVD backups even easier, with an almost one step program.
Making mine RDS words, thanx for your effort (and VM also) in making our lives easier.

As there's no "I'd like it included..." thread, here goes my first suggestion: as it can also be used for SKVCD encoding, it would be nice to include mplex support (also command-line program, isn't it?)... yes, I know

Omg! Great tool Inc I knew you were working on a project and this looks really impressive I cant wait to give it a try.

Thanks for your hard work in bringing us this tool buddy. :)

Well the main purpose was to do kDVD encodings with that GUI, but as you see I already added 44.1khz audio rate ... so doors are open in my mind ;-)

SKVCD encoding means adding that resolution to the internal resizing tamplets. Resizing bases still on pre calculated templates but as the GUI includes source header (and therefore resolution)- parsings ... my intention is to get a real calculation engine internally doing that job - like Vmesquitas DIVX resizing avs function!

Multiplexing could be done, best would be if we can determine best settings to mplex.exe, so these would be chosen by just 3 or 4 options in the GUI, like (VCD,SVCD, mpeg1SVCD etc.)
My intention is to keep an overview of the options as 80% of all the option we do use to make our stuff is everytime the same as these base on developing in here.

So the resume of all this should be the same purpose like VM also offers with his MencodeME:
 Give that GUI-"Kitchen" (where "our" best known recipes are inside) the ingredients .... and a ready made meal for our taste comes out finally 8)

If you want to affect Every parameter of Mencoder then I do suggest "DoMencode GUI" as it offers that in also a nice way.

Found out two bugs when entering the code again as DigitallDoc advised me that there have been audio issues when downmixing from 5.1 to 2.0!

- 6ch AC3 was set in ac3enc even if 2.0 as output was wished.
- In azid.dll the parameter "surround2" was still used instead of "dplii" which is also used in the very latest beswet gui.

New release will be tonight ....

Do I must to fix that?

audioslave 05-14-2004 10:21 PM

I'm with you Prodater64. I haven't found any problems either... And I put Mencoder.exe in the root directory together with PackShot.exe.

BTW Thank you Incredible for another great Mencoder GUI :D .

incredible 05-15-2004 05:46 AM

Nice to know that as since Im working with mplayer/mencoder I never recognised that. I still got from my first mplayer/mencoder install these folders in there ;-)

But youre right as I do when compiling mencoder everytime enable win32 codes support and also I use an updated condecs.conf file FOR compiling mencoder.exe

Actually I meant nothing as the lien you quoted wasn't from me bu t from Inc that edited one of my post to add trhis comment :-)

Actually, I fidn your present question while I was performing a search on the forum to see if someone already has a problem with this file because I just ran my first mencoder job and felt on the problem myself :-))
