Problems after multiplexing
Hi,
I thought I'd try KVCD last night. I converted the video with MencodeME, and did the audio with Headac3he. I was only trying to convert a 12 min .avi file, but in MencodeME I set the video lentgh to 110 mins so that I could fit 9 of these 12 min episodes on one CD. It converted fine. The video was about 60-70mb and the 128k audio was a few meg big. Then I used TMPGEnc to multiplex the files and the file size shot up to over 200mb. Should it grow that much after a multiplex? cos I can't fit 9 200mb files on one CD :( |

I just tried TMPGEnc 2.58.44.152 as well, and that does the same thing. Am I doing the whole KVCD thing right by using MencodeME to make a .mpv? |

@ WOWIEGURL: tmpgenc 2.59 has a bug. Use the forum search tool. |
I tried a few different versions of TMPGEnc, and all of them did the same, so I tried bbmpeg and it worked fine. Thanks a lot Prodater64 :D
Edit: Hmm...after testing I found out that it's not quite all fine. There is no audio when played back on the DVD player, but the audio is there on the PC. Edit2: Got that working now two :) |
@Drew may i ask you how u got 'no sound' to work. thanks.
