First, thaks for your work, Incredible.
And, now...There's a bug in your GUI. When I load a AVI (by Makeavis) with a resolution of 640x480 with 25 fps (of course, I want to make a PAL movie), packshot do the resizing to... A NTSC RESOLUTION... Always!
You have to fix this bug, because program doesn't let me to change to a PAL resolution. Maybe, if you add a "littel box" to unlock self-resizing to NTSC resolutions when the program "thinks" that the source is NTSC.

May be I have been doing something wrong. Please, tell me.

As you are using an avs script (via makeAVIs) just do the resize with avisynth !
You really don't have any reason to let mencoder doing it (normally the only reason to manke it so is to avoid the usage of avisynth).

did you see that there is a sticky post for bug reporting of pack-shot ?

Hola Nogod.

... also you didnt read the instructions ...
Thats not a bug, ... because its not the purpose of Packshot to handle out of DVD standard sized avis as input source!
(I thought I had implementated a warning popup for such cases ...hmmmm)

Read the explanation in the download thread:
Quote:
1-file-VOBs and AVIS via Makeavis are supported, direct import of Divx/Xvid avis not, as you have to first treat them via Avisynth resizing and Makeavis as these mpg4's often got individual source resolutions. The Source Resolution of VOBs will be directly recognised as they come in DVD legal Resolutions.
So do treat your individual Avis source size using Avisynth before and import it into Packshot via Makeavis.

Because the internal resizing templates are made for DVD Sources ONLY.

Small thing - everytime I start packshot, its opens the window 1/2 off the screen to the lower right.

Not a big problem, just irritating. Can it be set to open further left pleae?

It seems that you're the only one to have this behaviour for some strange reason. Nothing like this for me.

Note: I close this thread. Please DO USE THE STICKY POST for bug reporting.
