VirtualDub-MPEG2 1.5.10 build 18250

VirtualDub-MPEG2 1.5.10 build 18250 free!

Changes in VirtualDub-MPEG2:
Version 1.5.10 build 18250 (May 16, 2004)
By request, I restored the "Aspect ratio information" field to the MPEG File Information dialog
(this had accidentally been removed during a previous upgrade).

There is still some people that use this version while virtualdubmob does more things at least as good than this one ?

Strange...

I underline Phils argument ...

Almost everybody in here does use Avisynth,
did you never get in touch with that Script editor of VdubMod??
VdubMod is a musthave in case of Avisynth.

Or the Audiostream Demultiplexer of Vdubmod ....

jorel 05-18-2004 10:44 AM

ok ,i understand Phils and ink argument...
but sometimes the Script editor of VdubMod "crash" and close vdubmod!
it don't happens with you?

I do not use it so... no :-)

I do anything with the on-the-fly avisynth facility of ffdshow. Inc never managed to have it to work :-)

i forgot to post this Phil:
in vdubmod you can't choose:
audio ---> full processing mode---> compression--->select audio compression format to save but you can do with vdubmpeg2...or i don't know how to do that in vdubmod..have a way? :?

Stream --> stream list --> right click on the audio stream you want --> full processing mode --> compression ---> select the format.

In fact is exactly the same thing but as vdubmod mode manages other things than audio and video (chapters and subtitles for instance) they rename the menu "audio" into "stream" and anything that is not the video itself is found under this new menu.

And you can do video with multiple audio streams also ;-)

"Inc" got it working (remember my ds workout where I got enlighten what happens in my system, there also was the point where btw I tried that ffdshow avs workout as it finally then worked) but I dropped it fast after a comparison to VdubMods Script editor, sorry! (only my opinion on that, so other please fell free).

In VDubMOD (which never crashed in its editor in my cases), all edits do directly affect the "orig" avs script (F5 = save and refresh) which im using. I can make so much things like importing framesets out of cuts (captures), I got a "correct syntax" recognision in color (like other avs editors), these are just two advantages.
Maybe ffdshow makes it possible to affect directly the "running" video. But I see in relation that I personally for myself get out more advantages seen as a whole when using VdubMods avs Script editor.

But thats only my personal taste ... as I tested both ways which gave me that opinion.

YEP! Now I know what you mean.

That happens at 98% of times when a bad combination of filters is stored in Avisynths PlugIns Folder!
Thers maybe a C Plugin or so which lets Avisynth/VdubMod get in conflict.

Thats why I changed my way to load all non standard filter in my scripts individually.

So do clean up your PlugIns Folder and do determine a folder where you store all your extra firlters which will be loaded via LoadPlugin().

That should fix your problem (I hope so)

Inc :)

thanks for all hints ink! i did it all, posted in d9 thread too, take a look please, here is the copy :
after rename the avisynth_c.dll to avisynth_c.dll1,remove all filters from avisynth plugins folder and reboot, after open the script in vdubmod15101--->tools--->script editor i got:
"virtualdub program failure- detail" and give me a big log file, some of the lines is wroten:
VirtualDub crash report -- build 2366 (release)
...
"bff7b992: 803e04 cmp byte ptr [esi], 04 <-- FAULT"
...
"Windows 4.10 (Windows 98 build 2222) [ A ]"
...
"Crash reason: Access Violation
Crash context:
An out-of-bounds memory access (access violation) occurred in module 'KERNEL32'.
...
script used:
mpeg2source("F:\a.D2V")
Crop(8,0,704,480)

..well,all filters removed and still not working....very strange!
see that Didée give recomendations to use the vdubmod1.4.13 and using this version i got: " one archive .DLL needed. LIBPGN.DLL was nor found"
and i can't find this dll in "anywhere"(and from pages with download dlls not found too)
seamless problems here too:
