horizontal lines in source file?
 
i have soem divx files and some of them have these lines during action scenes or fast movement see sample below.ive tried the deinterlace option in moviesatcker but nothing seems to work are there any filter to stop this? alos the files with this problem all seems to be @ 29fps
soruce info: gsopt reports codec as divx3 low motion

You can't deinterlace it know. This had to be done during divx encoding. Now the lines are hard encoded intot the frames.

It like trying to restore colors from a movie encoded in B&W.

:D true but usign a filter in vdub called TV Y channle most of the lines seems to fade but the output is B&W :D
