Warning....warning... FedEx Ground
I order items from Ebay ocassionally with usually no problems, but my
most recent order has prompted me to warn others that haven't yet run into the "Perfect Storm". The seller didn't secure the item and sends a computer with so little packing materials everything inside is just sliding around. The package delivery serivce has such a bad rating that 80% to 85% of the time they damage your package and ignor you afterwards (FedEx Ground). I didn't believe they were so bad until I researched them and found many websites full of complaints: http://www.epinions.com/bsrv-Office_...splay_~reviews I been trying for 3 weeks to get FedEx Ground to pickup the damaged item and each time they promise to come out, no one shows :evil: I been working with their CAT (consumer advocate team) and they don't know how to handle them either. The seller refuses to refund until he gets back his item and this has been going on for a month. I probably will just keep the computer and take the loss. :x But for those of you brave enough to try FedEx Ground, you been warned :evil: -BP |
