Reasons to CLOSE a thread:

Any "suspicious" posts, that you think is related to warez, but it's not very clear. Simply close the thread, and point the poster to read the forum disclaimer.

Reasons to DELETE a thread:

Anything that clearly is identified as warez. No excuses.
Delete the thread AND ALL posts AFTER the offending post. Again, no excuses, and no need to post a link to the disclaimer.

So that's it. This is fair for all of us, and fair for "newbies", so they read the disclaimer, and also cleans up the forum of any stray posts which could cause us problems in the future.

And as it has been said before, moderators should work together, and not fight against each other. So let's keep our cool guys ;)

Anyway, as I have already told you Jorge, I always choose to trust people.
So if they don't give me irrefutable evidence that they are posting warez (the name of the movie, for instance), then I keep helping.
Otherwise I close the thread as fast as a bullet because I HATE WAREZ :lol:.

a few minutes i lock one new important thread in portuguese forum but will edit all trashes cos was running very cool and is important for all.
the guy posted that had an avi with permanents subs to encode to kvcd.
they are quoting lots and i ask about that avi with permanet subs.
he told me that have the original dvd.
i ask why he don't was using the dvd as source and not the avi with permanets subs cos seems "strange" for me that option....no way out:
was a big confusion and in the end he was blaming :arrow: ME 8O .

if i was used my judgement first that thread was closed before that confusion cos for me "seems" ilogical his choice! :roll:
but i don't want to loose that thread and the title is:
"tmpgenc, i don't understand anything"
and i wrote to the guy: "you're right....you don't understand anything, read the disclaimer and how to post" :lol: :lol:
