There is really something useful in this trhead?
Is it worth to keep it?

I don't even know what it is :-)

I still use it once in a while :)
Specially in some cases where audio is out of sync.
I use it to extract the audio to WAV directly from the VOBs, and then encode to .mp2
A classic example was the movie "Kate & Leopold", where no matter what we did (with DVD2AVI), the audio was always out of sync.
Mediator was the solution.
Search the forum for "rendalunit" and mediator" or kate and leopold, and you'll find it ;)
The program is VERY usefull.

But all links are dead.
By the way, now you can try Smart-K Audio SoundStretch (SKAS)
