Hurricane too close! - Part 2 - 2005
 

Well, here we go again, and it seems this year will be for the guinness records :lol:
The peak of the hurricane season in the Atlantic is around September 15, and here we are on July 11, and a hurricane (Dennis), which passed way south of us, already did a quite mess in Jamaica, Haiti, Cuba and the US. 8O

And now look at Emily (Still a storm. Not yet a hurricane.) on the eastern Atlantic, and look at the projected trajectory 8O 8O 8O ( We are at Lat 18.5 N - Lon -66.0 W) :

On a serious note that looks like one mean mother of a storm, I remember last year when you had a big hurricane close to your location.

Is this in danger of passing near you Karl, or do you think you will be lucky and it will pass by?

No, this hurricane already passed way south of us, and by now, it's far west of us :)
And it's no storm anymore :lol:

I am pleased to hear that this storm has passed and avoided your area, it looked really nasty.

You say it's no storm does that mean it has died now? I hope so it looked really bad.

Yeah!, it's now a little storm, somewhere in Mexico :)
But hurricane season is just starting, so we still have till the end of October :roll:

I bet you are counting the days to October, these storms are scary it must be a bit nai biting when one comes into town. :(

Until the quoted post, I hasn't seen the whole image. This makes me wondered if there is any online image resizer and I find out http://www.resize2mail.com/
With this online tool you can: Right click original image and copy image adress, go to resize2mail page, press select button an paste image adress, select what you want and press okay button. You will have a new resized image that can upload with imageshack.us
Then copy your resized image link, go to imageshack.us press select button and paste image adresse.
(When you do it as images are cached in your disk, you really are pasting a local adress pointing at your internet cache folder in both cases.)
Then you can post the resized image here linked to original image.
